History

Mary Brown’s was founded in Newfoundland & Labrador, Canada in 1969. The province is renowned for hospitality and commitment to community. That same spirit is infused into Mary Brown’s stores coast-to-coast across the vast Canadian landscape – and will carry through globally. At the heart of Mary Brown’s is owner, Gregory Roberts, a Newfoundland-born entrepreneur who bought the brand in 2007 and has since elevated it to the highest international standards.
